In the vast curriculum vitae of Xaverio, you can easily find the keys to an artist for he is restless, creative, investigator, essential, intimate and cosmopolitan. One can clearly infer the development of the artistīs creative process and the interest deposited in his works from the analysis of his many exhibitions-both individual and collective-realized in different parts of Europe and America; from the presence of his works in collections and museums and from his bibliography. This detailed analysis clarifies his versatile artistic personality from the beginning of his works. It show his capability to observe and to apprehend. He has a purist sense in the aesthetic and formal approach. He is delicate and elegant in the realization of his works and without it being easy, due to the enormous minimalist load, he produces an impact and interest in the observer. For years and on the basis of the knowledge acquired from the theories of Quantum Physics, which has implications on a new comprehension of reality, Xaverio works transmiting "transcendent concepts". We must look for the origin of the latter in the esence of oriental philosophy and in mysticisism. Space is represented through material, light and colour. In 1999 Xaverio instigates, in Granada (Spain), the creation of the "Quantum Aesthetics Group" that aims to "investigate the new paths we are lead into by the most advanced science and psychology, turning art and literature into precise instruments in the acquisition of knowledge". |
